Thinking About Life Insurance

We’ve been looking into life insurance lately. Don’t ask me why. I think it’s because the hubby has been talking to a buddy of his about it for a bit and now he’s seriously pondering the idea. So while I’m doing some research on the internet, I see a thing for Term Life Insurance and I think about the baby and what it would cost to get him covered. Because you can never be to careful, you know? (more…)

Get Road Ready This Summer

There is going to be a lot of traveling going on this summer, what with kids going away to camp, or families going to visit relatives in other places and all. So GetRoadReady.Com has everything you might need to get you and your family ready for the that long road trip you have ahead of you! Check out the informational video below to get an idea of the things they have available and how you can use them.

When we got our items from the website, my husband went nuts. He couldn’t get them out of the box fast enough. He especially loved the wipes we got. The baby is always making some kind of mess in the car, so now he has something to clean it all up properly with. He’s the driver of the household at the moment since I don’t have my little piece of plastic that says I can get behind the wheel.

We also got some activity pages for the baby to use when we’re on the road. Stuff from coloring pages, license plate games, to naming the capitals of each state. But there is more on the site that you can print out and take with you, so if we ever run out, we can just hook up the printer and get more. It’s that easy.

GetRoadReady.Com makes it easy for moms (and dads) to get everything ready and keep your sanity at the same time. I love it and I think I’ll stick with them if I ever need anything for our family trips, especially the one we’re taking later this month when my sister has her daughter.

Promote Your RSS Feed w/RSS Hugger

I’ve been looking around for some decent sites to promote my links on. In my search, I came across one called RSS Hugger, a community for bloggers. This is great for site promotion because not only do other members see your feed link and will possibly subscribe, but when they write a review for the site, other people visit and they too will see your link and that’s how the chain of subscribers begins! Pretty Rings Make Pretty Fingers

Silver Heart Cut Diamond RingOk so that might not be true, but who doesn’t love to wear rings? I’ve found the perfect ring for me though. This beautiful heart shaped gem in a sterling silver ring. I love it, and have asked the hubby for it (yes I have to ask for my jewelery). I found it over at Jewels of Denial. They have all kinds of beautiful things for men and women. I know Mothers Day is gone, but Fathers Day is coming up (if your man wears it) and their stuff is perfect for birthdays or special occasions of all kinds. Right now they’re offering a 20% coupon to use in their shop for the people who sign up for their newsletter (which is awesome). Check out the site today if you have a loved one with a special day coming or even for yourself.

Tachikoma Tote Bag

animenation_2002_287185198-150x150 Tachikoma Tote BagI got my bag a while ago, but I thought I’d share it with you. Especially if you’re a fan of anime like me. This tan colored bag is made of canvas, as you can probably tell (or not) and is a very tough little thing (believe me). It’s got a cotton interior so keep the bag from getting totally destroyed. It’s also got a small pocket for your small things like phones, glasses, wallet, whatever. I’ve taken this thing with me everywhere, and although it is getting pretty dirty and beat up, it’s lasting. It’s got a print of two tachikomas (I absolutely adore them *points to dolls*) from the anime, Ghost in the Shell.

You can get this bag (if you’re interested) at Animenation for only $10.00. Better hurry though, by the looks of it it’s on clearance.
