The holiday season is coming up fast. I know the whole Halloween thing is before all that but before you know it, Christmas will be upon us. I haven’t even begun to know what to get anyone but I do know what I, myself, want. I was surfing around at all the little computer things that are available and I came across some Pexagon Thumb Drives so I can put all of my music onto it and un-slow my computer.

I’m always looking for a way to save money when I shop for my family. Whether it’s online or at the store. So when I found a website called Shop.Com, I immediately began to browse through it’s pages to see what they had to offer. Shop.Com is a new kind of shopping comparison site that offers the most comprehensive shopping experience on the web. They have their shopping experts know the industry and do their best to bring us, the customers, the best the shopping world has to offer at the best price possible.

The first place I hit on their website was the Home & Housewares page. I’ve been wanting to do a lot of things around my house and I wanted to see what they had to offer. And they had everything I was looking for. Especially the silverware sorter for my kitchen drawer. I’ve been without one for years!! I also had to at least look at the the Kids & Baby. Mini Buff needs clothes for school and some new shoes of course. I found some stuff for him, but it’ll have to wait for the next paycheck to roll in.

And during the month of October, they are making a Breast Cancer Awareness shop available to people who want to get their pink on! All purchases are helping raise money toward the cure. I thought that was awesome. The pink stuff also took me in. I LOVE pink!!

It’s a really nifty site though, if you ever time to look at it. I totally recommend it. They are great for your normal shopping and also if you’re looking for gift ideas for friends and/or family. And like I said, if you’re looking for clothing for your kids or even yourself for the coming winter and/or year, they most likely have what you want to find. You can shop and compare different stores all from this one website. So you don’t have to settle for one brand and you’re gonna get the best deal when it comes to saving money. And don’t forget about the coupon savings and free shipping offers as well!!

There is a lot to say when you get good products. You know how much I love the all natural small start ups products since when you get in on the beginning before they go huge you not only can make suggestions which will help the product (since everyone wants to perfect their product) in this case for example its true. The owner is such a sweetheart and when I was sent the pomegranate body butter I had an issue where the product was for me a little to slick. So I sent her an email and informed her that my own personal preference would be for something that wouldn’t be as oily as the product. To which she understood and is looking into a lighter oil based product. I definitely loved that. Since she definitely listened which is remarkable. Her products are great I used them after the shower and the scent mixed so well with my body scrub, and it wasn’t a strong scent but the scent would last for hours.

That was my absolute favorite thing about it. Whats even better is my Grandmother loved it. So when I ran out she bought herself a new tub of it, unfortunately her product was mislabeled so she was sent a different scent which was handled with such graciousness, kindness and with such great communication that exchanging the product was so easy!

So I really experienced it all with this company and I have to say even the mix up was nothing and I absolutely love their company. I will be buying a new tub for myself! You should buy it too. We can have a buying party www.shearadiance.com

I have to say that out of all the ones I have joined in the past, this one is my favorite. It’s “the world’s first Digg just for mom blogs and parenting related news.”

I think the feature I like most is that, as well as submitting posts manually, you can add your blog to their directory, which uses your sites feed, and your posts are automatically added to the database and visible for people to vote on. The more votes a post gets, the more chance it has to make it to the front page and increase blog traffic. It’s a very useful site if you think about it. And it’s main focus is mom’s and parenting, and everything about being a parent. I visit it daily because articles are updated in real time so you always have the newest stuff to read from so many sources. I’ve gotten some other people to join as well, and they enjoy it very much.

The site is part of the ParentsClick Network, which also runs MothersClick, another place for moms to connect with each other and share experiences and advice. The creators of the site have this to say about their newest project:

Our mission is simply to provide a lively and helpful resource to connect active mom bloggers with the readers who enjoy them. By adding your site to Mom Blog Network, you’ll get increased visibility for your blog and that’ll drive more traffic your way.

Mom Blog Network invites all mom bloggers who are interested in promoting their sites through syndication, offering an easy way to reach a wider audience and drive more traffic for members. So check it out today!

I am always on the lookout for menstrual products that make a woman’s time of the month a little easier and a little more natural, without the fear of Toxic Shock Syndrome, synthetic fibers and bleached cotton.

Most of what is used in traditional menstrual products are not good for a woman’s body and have been known to cause serious illness as well as other ailments that companies try to brainwash women into buying anyway, in hopes that women do not catch on to what they are really putting against and in their bodies. These large companies, use attractive wrapping and what they refer to as “advanced technology” to brainwash women into buying and using their products, hoping that they simply do not catch on to what really goes into these products.

I have reviewed other menstrual products here before and have recently come across a new product for those who are also looking for alternatives to the traditional pads and tampons.

The Instead Softcup is a product that I most definitely should have come across earlier. It is an FDA-approved, disposable menstrual product that is worn completely internally and holds your menstrual flow for up to 12 hours—twice as long as you can keep a tampon in! It is, just as the name suggests, a soft cup with a flexible, circular rim that when compressed for insertion, is about the same size as a tampon. It is non-absorbent and does not irritate your skin; it is a one-size fit for nearly all women and it also contains absolutely no latex.

The Instead Softcup is completely comfortable to wear and is also safe—never being linked to Toxic Shock Syndrome. Another great benefit of the Softcup is that there is no menstrual odor because the cup is worn internally, your flow does not come in contact with air. Some other great benefits of this product are that the Softcup allows for “clean sex” because of it’s unique design and some women have even said that it is an effective method for conceiving, because the Softcup keeps all fluids close to the cervix, so this is a product that is definitely worth looking into not just for menstrual reasons, but if you’ve had trouble conceiving in the past.

The cup, while a little tricky to insert at first, is one of the most innovative menstrual products I have seen. The benefits of using the Softcup are immense and after you get the hang of inserting the cup, it’s smooth sailing.

The Instead Softcup has sold more than 100 million units since 1996, when it was introduced and can be found at your local Target, Walgreens, CVS, Wal-Mart and Rite-Aid, among others.

If you’re looking for other resources about the Instead Softcup, as well as some more information on insertion, check out Angela Shelton’s video on the product as well as some positive self-loving affirmations!
I loved watching the pound puppies as a child and I know all of my nieces and nephews will love it as well.

Each puppy includes an original cartoon special DVD. The toy itself is adorable, and amazingly soft. The age reference on this toy is 3 yrs + because of possible choking hazards such as the eyes, nose and tag.

The tag included on the dog gives you the ability to write the name of the dog in case it is lost or stolen, like a real dog tag.

Each puppy also comes with an adoption certificate, which I think is absolutely adorable. You can play with the dog and other dogs at www.poundpuppies.com. There were approximately a dozen dogs your child can adopt and you will have fun adopting them. Think about its the reliving ones youth through something I could understand unlike these webkins these days. I had absolutely no clue what they were until my sister in law showed me, apparently she even plays them!

Well This one I could play myself as per I actually know something about the pound puppies and it doesn’t make me feel ridiculously old at my young age when these kids are freaking out over a toy I just never even heard of! I’m going to collect a few for my nieces and nephews so they can enjoy something I actually know about!

The Toddler Cookbook by Annabel Karmel (I love her name) is a great addition to anyone’s cookbook collection. Especially if you have children who love to help out in the kitchen. It has some great recipes that you and your child can make together and it makes for some great snacks and healthy eating as well.

Fun food that isn’t junk food!

It was a great book. I have since sent it off to my sister because she is due in a few months and I think she could use this as well later on. I hope she finds it as useful as I did!
