Cooking is fun. So is eating the tasty things you can make and bake. And cooking and eating together is even better.
The Toddler Cookbook by Annabel Karmel (I love her name) is a great addition to anyone’s cookbook collection. Especially if you have children who love to help out in the kitchen. It has some great recipes that you and your child can make together and it makes for some great snacks and healthy eating as well.

Having a toddler myself I found this book extremely helpful in figuring out how to deal with some things about him and what to expect. It was a great book. I have since sent it off to my sister because she is due in a few months and I think she could use this as well later on. I hope she finds it as useful as I did!

This unique book gives mothers and honest view of what fathers feel but are often too afraid to say. A must read for parents of all ages and professionals with families.
I found this book really interesting…as soon as I got it back from my husband. It gives you a look into the male mind when it comes to being a parent and what they think about the whole situation. Like the book says, it’s a must read for all parents of all ages. I may hand it over to my sister when I’ve become detached from it. She could probably use it. LOL

Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. The earth has been invaded by a species that take over the minds of their human hosts while leaving their bodies intact, and most of humanity has succumbed.
Wanderer, the invading “soul” who has been given Melanie’s body, knew about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the too vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn’t expect: the former tenant of her body refusing to relinquish possession of her mind.
Melanie fills Wanderer’s thoughts with visions of the man Melanie loves-Jared, a human who still lives in hiding. Unable to separate herself from her body’s desires, Wanderer yearns for a man she’s never met. As outside forces make Wanderer and Melanie unwilling allies, they set off to search for the man they both love.
Featuring what may be the first love triangle involving only two bodies, THE HOST is a riveting and unforgettable novel that will bring a vast new readership to one of the most compelling writers of our time.
I can’t wait to start reading this book!

Libby Fawcett decides to start a secret blog so that she can have an outlet to vent her feelings and frustrations. When Seth Jacobs (her crush since eighth grade) witnesses her tragic (and comic) run-in with a Bunsen burner in chemistry class, or when she finds out that her mother is dating the father of her arch-nemesis, Angel Rivera, she’s able to keep a level head and make it through school each day with each blog posting. But when her entries get posted all over for the whole world to see, will Libby be able to walk the halls–or face Seth–ever again?
This book was exactly what I expected it to be and was predictable throughout the entire story. It only took me two days to read it. I would have finished it in one, but my son has a tendency to invade my alone time. But then again, it is for teen readers. Not twenty year old ones. And I’ll admit, I liked it for the most part. It was a good story, but I always knew what was going to happen next. And because of this I skipped over some of the more detailed parts and got right back to the talking. But for her first book, Shana Norris did a pretty good job writing it and mixing normal story with blog posts to make a story. It kinda makes you think twice about posting about people you know may find out about it sometime or another.
