Your Very Own Personalized Thumb Drive

October 21st, 2008 Jenny

The holiday season is coming up fast. I know the whole Halloween thing is before all that but before you know it, Christmas will be upon us. I haven’t even begun to know what to get anyone but I do know what I, myself, want. I was surfing around at all the little computer things that are available and I came across some Pexagon Thumb Drives so I can put all of my music onto it and un-slow my computer.

Personalized Flash Drives

I know they’re just like any other USB drive, but when you have your husbands many USB sticks sitting around your desk, it’s hard to know which one is yours. The thumb drives offered by Pexagon are personalized. They engrave your name onto it so everyone will know who it belongs to! And being able to personalize it, you can choose from 14 different colors and 32 exciting themes such as, “#1 Teacher”, “Sports” or “Butterflies”. They’re also available in 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities.

If you have a geek or someone in your family or circle of friends who would like or needs more space for their stuff, these make great gifts, and not just for Christmas. So head on over and check em out.

You’ve got to get a good brand when you buy one of these. I bought a less-well-known one, and some files seemed to be becoming corrupted.
    Panic!

A good additional backup is a laptop HD drive in one of those small USB external cradles. Very cheap, small, portable.

You can also pull the HD out of your laptop and take it with you in one of these. I had to do this when my laptop went splat, and was glad to be able to do it.
