I'm so glad I found your blog! I recently moved to San Francisco from New York City, and I've got strong ties to northern New Jersey (my ex was from there), and I've been pining away for your part of the world. I've been crawling the web in search of some kind of 'connectedness,' so I'm happy to find this site.

I LOVE the kitchen gadgets. My ex was an alpha chef (my, that's the second time I mentioned him), so I'm just now returning from a long banishment from the kitchen. Perhaps I should buy this for myself. : -) Seriously, I'm always on the lookout for kid-friendly things -- I've been surprised at how kid-friendly San Francisco is -- so I'll be filing this away for my holiday shopping needs.

My daughter loves to help me bake/cook but my utensils are so big for her. This would be perfect!

BTW, your post will be included in the next edition of the Carnival of Family Life scheduled for Nov. 19th at An Island Life. See you there!
