The Babysitter Memo Tile
October 6th, 2007 Jenny
We all go out for a night together with our husbands and/or wives. If you have children, that means leaving them with a babysitter or some form of trusted adult. And with that comes the task of leaving emergency information for said “guardian” in case they need to reach you at some point for whatever reason. That’s where the Babysitter Memo Tile from PlaceTile Designs comes in. It’s outfitted for filling out just the right information you need to give such as hospital and doctor’s phone numbers, allergies and medication for the children and of course the number(s) in which you can be reached. And with it’s erasable black marker and surface, it can be used more then one or twice.
Not only is it compact, but it’s elegant and with it’s 7 inch all around square shape, it can be placed just about anywhere such as on a mantle, a shelf, a table or on a counter. It’s soft yellow color can match any decor as well, making it a perfect ornament when it isn’t being used.
I have placed this on the shelf above my kitchen sink and use it when I need to. In fact, we are having someone watch the baby tomarrow while the hubby and I go out so I’ll be filling out all the info I need the sitter to know once again. It really is a very handy tool and I’m sure never to forget anything that needs to be written down for him. I give this product five stars in my book. Grab yours today!

That is a pretty useful thing to have in your house, especially so you can feel safer about your kids!
By the way, your background is almost the exact same pattern of my shorts. Just thought I’d let you know ;D

Just fill out the tile with your info for the babysitter whenever you go out.

Awesome idea. I have a pad of paper that works the same way, but i like the idea of not wasting paper.

They are cute. I used to print out the necessary information, put it in a page protector and reuse. I would hang it on the fridge and add specifics to the whiteboard next to it.

The memo tiles are great…much prettier than those awful dry erase boards that I’ve seen before. By the way I found your blog thru The Mom Blogs…can’t wait to read more!

That’s definitely a good idea for parents to use when they hire a babysitter. You never know what could happen.

That’s pretty cool! Now if only I dared leave my daughters with someone. I’m ultra paranoid!

That’s a pretty cute idea. I guess the post-it note on the fridge isn’t a useful (and cheaper) alternative anymore, heh.
Reply: Well think of all the paper and tree’s you’ll save.

That is very cool. I’m not sure if I’d ever use it because I know I’ll always have my parents or sisters to watch my future children and they’d obviously would already have that information. But it is a good idea nevertheless.

This is a good idea. With such a sheet you will be able to get the important numbers quickly and act fast in urgent cases.

That is a really, really clever idea - very useful. I don’t have children of my own, but I used to babysit a lot and would be left contact details for the parents scribbled on bits of paper - not easy to find or remember where they were left in an emergency!!

We sell great memo boards which you can use like a dry write board but they are waterproof so can be used in bathrooms, outside etc.
