I am always on the lookout for menstrual products that make a woman’s time of the month a little easier and a little more natural, without the fear of Toxic Shock Syndrome, synthetic fibers and bleached cotton.
Most of what is used in traditional menstrual products are not good for a woman’s body and have been known to cause serious illness as well as other ailments that companies try to brainwash women into buying anyway, in hopes that women do not catch on to what they are really putting against and in their bodies. These large companies, use attractive wrapping and what they refer to as “advanced technology” to brainwash women into buying and using their products, hoping that they simply do not catch on to what really goes into these products.
I have reviewed other menstrual products here before and have recently come across a new product for those who are also looking for alternatives to the traditional pads and tampons.
The Instead Softcup is a product that I most definitely should have come across earlier. It is an FDA-approved, disposable menstrual product that is worn completely internally and holds your menstrual flow for up to 12 hours—twice as long as you can keep a tampon in! It is, just as the name suggests, a soft cup with a flexible, circular rim that when compressed for insertion, is about the same size as a tampon. It is non-absorbent and does not irritate your skin; it is a one-size fit for nearly all women and it also contains absolutely no latex.
The Instead Softcup is completely comfortable to wear and is also safe—never being linked to Toxic Shock Syndrome. Another great benefit of the Softcup is that there is no menstrual odor because the cup is worn internally, your flow does not come in contact with air. Some other great benefits of this product are that the Softcup allows for “clean sex” because of it’s unique design and some women have even said that it is an effective method for conceiving, because the Softcup keeps all fluids close to the cervix, so this is a product that is definitely worth looking into not just for menstrual reasons, but if you’ve had trouble conceiving in the past.
The cup, while a little tricky to insert at first, is one of the most innovative menstrual products I have seen. The benefits of using the Softcup are immense and after you get the hang of inserting the cup, it’s smooth sailing.
The Instead Softcup has sold more than 100 million units since 1996, when it was introduced and can be found at your local Target, Walgreens, CVS, Wal-Mart and Rite-Aid, among others.
If you’re looking for other resources about the Instead Softcup, as well as some more information on insertion, check out Angela Shelton’s video on the product as well as some positive self-loving affirmations!

I was so excited when I received this product in the mail. I loved watching the pound puppies as a child and I know all of my nieces and nephews will love it as well.
Each puppy includes an original cartoon special DVD. The toy itself is adorable, and amazingly soft. The age reference on this toy is 3 yrs + because of possible choking hazards such as the eyes, nose and tag.
The tag included on the dog gives you the ability to write the name of the dog in case it is lost or stolen, like a real dog tag.
Each puppy also comes with an adoption certificate, which I think is absolutely adorable. You can play with the dog and other dogs at www.poundpuppies.com. There were approximately a dozen dogs your child can adopt and you will have fun adopting them. Think about its the reliving ones youth through something I could understand unlike these webkins these days. I had absolutely no clue what they were until my sister in law showed me, apparently she even plays them!
Well This one I could play myself as per I actually know something about the pound puppies and it doesn’t make me feel ridiculously old at my young age when these kids are freaking out over a toy I just never even heard of! I’m going to collect a few for my nieces and nephews so they can enjoy something I actually know about!

From acclaimed author Annabel Karmel, The Toddler Cookbook is the perfect kitchen primer for little chefs. Easy recipes for a wide variety of dishes, from lettuce wraps to crunchy chicken dippers, allow lots of opportunities for toddlers to lend Mom or Dad a hand as they whip up lots of new flavors-and lots of fun.
Cooking is fun. So is eating the tasty things you can make and bake. And cooking and eating together is even better.
The Toddler Cookbook by Annabel Karmel (I love her name) is a great addition to anyone’s cookbook collection. Especially if you have children who love to help out in the kitchen. It has some great recipes that you and your child can make together and it makes for some great snacks and healthy eating as well.
Fun food that isn’t junk food!

Having a toddler myself I found this book extremely helpful in figuring out how to deal with some things about him and what to expect. It was a great book. I have since sent it off to my sister because she is due in a few months and I think she could use this as well later on. I hope she finds it as useful as I did!

This unique book gives mothers and honest view of what fathers feel but are often too afraid to say. A must read for parents of all ages and professionals with families.
I found this book really interesting…as soon as I got it back from my husband. It gives you a look into the male mind when it comes to being a parent and what they think about the whole situation. Like the book says, it’s a must read for all parents of all ages. I may hand it over to my sister when I’ve become detached from it. She could probably use it. LOL

My husband has been on me for a while about making some extra money to help with the bills. And I can’t disagree with him on that. But he wants me to go out into the real world *gasp* and find a job. I was hoping it wouldn’t have to come to that. I really don’t like working with people face to face or on a day to day basis. So when I signed up with SocialSpark, I figured I could make some extra money that way. It’s actually helped pay a little bit of the rent, which is awesome. I’m actually contributing. That makes the hubby happy. It’s one less thing he has to spend money on. Haha.

It also helps with a little extra goodie money. I know the baby is always asking for some new toy every time we hit the store (not that he always gets one) but once in a while I’ll have enough money to get him a treat or two when he’s being good. And if he doesn’t ask for something, I can get myself something new too. Like a nifty new shirt or summer dress, or even a new video or game. Or something the hubby wants from the auto department. LOL
But I’m glad I signed up with SocialSpark. And it’s not like you’re ever gonna get cheated. They have a great code of ethics:
-100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure
-100% Transparency
-100% Real Opinions
-100% Search Engine Friendly
So it’s really helped us out with the things that need to be paid for. It’s a mommy bloggers best friend in my opinion.
If you’re in need of some extra goodie cash or help with whatever, then this is the program for you. I love it and I think you will to.
