Major Mom @ PeaceLoveMom

Major Mom’s mission: always committed to her troops.

Major Mom Pine Soft TeeI just got me a new t-shirt. And I love it to death!! :) It’s a Major Mom T-Shirt from PeaceLoveMom. Everyone in my house (excluding me) likes to wear some sort of camo-print or style clothes, so I figured, this looks good. I’ll fit in with the boys without looking like a jackass. But it’s a really nice shirt, in my opinion.

It’s a 100% soft cotton jersey with capped sleeves (which I like) and is also a great fit. They come in XL and 2XL, but only because their sizes run a little small. So an XL, which is what I have, actually fits like a medium. That would make the 2XL a large. Which is what I should have gotten because it says expect 5% strinkage. That means when I wash it, it’s not gonna fit me anymore. LOL I’ll have to hand it off to my sister who’s due in a few months with her first child. And I love how it’s a mix between “army” and “hippie” where the logo is. That’s what made me get it in the first place. So now that I (kind of) fit in, we’re a (semi) camo wearing bunch. :)

This isn’t the only one they carry though, obviously. They have something for everyone. Kids too. I’m hoping to get a few tee’s for my son when I get a few dollars. But they’re great. It’s mom-madness!! Check ‘em out today!

Teriyaki Chicken and Fries

We made the perfect meal a couple of weeks ago. It was delicious. Using Perdue Perfect Portions Teriyaki style chicken, I made a (somewhat) healthy dinner for my family.

Mini Buff loves fries and I wanted to make something I used to have at a restaurant back in Vermont. Gravy fries!! Which is just fries with gravy poured on top of them. The chicken went well with it. It was so easy to cut through, seeing as it was pre-marinated and that made the flavor all the better. It was also easy to cut through, and that’s the best part. I didn’t have to tear it to shreds trying to get one piece of it.

So if you’re looking for the perfect chicken for your meal, go with Perdue Perfect Portions!
